Klent's Nutrition Database
About food: Lets talk for a moment about how to lose weight and keep it off. I think it all boils down to serving size and quantity consumed. If you use this tool you will notice that it usually lists 2 different serving sizes. I have found that the serving size I need is usually about the size of a deck of cards, or about 3 oz. (Yes, I do measure my food once in a while to see where I am at serving wise) If I eat more than that per helping I start putting on weight. Someone my size, 5' 8", needs about 2200 calories a day to stay healthy and maintain my weight. (see my calorie calculator to find out how many calories you need) If I want to loose a little I have to drop to 2000 or less. The next time you set down to eat write down what you consumed and then come here and see how many calories you ate. I bet you will be surprise.
Note: All data in the Kanbike food Database is from the USDA Nutrient Database for Standard Referance

Note 2: If you like this idea, and if a number of people request it, I will extend this application so that you could save items to make up a meal and find out the total calories and such that you have consumed in a sitting. Let me know if this is something you would like..... Klent
